How to get to Luleå
You can get to Luleå by air, rail and coach. Several airlines use Luleå Airport , which is less than 10 km from the centre of Luleå. Luleå Airport has 12 flights daily to and from Stockholm, and flying time is only 80 minutes. By train you go by SJ , the railway station is located in the centre of Luleå.
Conference and workshop venue
WWIC2010 and ERCIM workshop are organized on the campus of Luleå University
of Technology.
The campus can be easily reached within 10 minutes by buses 4 and 5 from Luleå center (Smedjegatan).

The conference auditorium is LKAB salen (A117).
ERCIM workshop will take place in auditorium A109, just opposit to A117.
How to travel in Luleå
For travelling around in Luleå, Luleå Lokaltrafik (LLT) has buses that all converge on Smedjegatan in the town centre. There are also a number of taxi companies and car rental companies at your service. For travel in the archipelago, Luleå has scheduled boat traffic. There are many boats, which in many cases can be chartered by groups. There are also a number of ways to travel to and from the rest of Norrbotten County. The county travel organisation Länstrafiken has connections with all the major communities in the county.
Where to stay in Luleå
The closet one by distance to the conference venue hotel is
Scandic Hotel.
It is, however, located outside the city center.
We recommend that you choose any hotel in the central Luleå, since it takes only a 10 minutes ride by
a bus to the conference venue. For your convenience we have made reservation in several hotels
located in the center of the city.
